I’ve always been the girl to carry a big bag with way too much in it. Since becoming a mom, this trend has just continued. I like to be prepared…usually, I’m overprepared. Today, I’m sharing my ten best bags for moms.
No matter what the setting or occasion, I have come to rely on big bags especially when I have the kids in tow. Whether you’re running a few errands, spending the day at the soccer field, or heading into the office for work, one of these bags is sure to be perfect.

I discovered Barrington gifts about two years ago when searching for a great work bag. I put this St. Anne Zippered Tote on my Christmas wish list, and it is perfect. It’s amazing quality and the perfect size to carry everything I need for school. I even throw some of the kids’ stuff in it when I’m in a rush.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard about Bogg bags. I snagged two of them last summer by the hardest, and somehow they are still nearly impossible to track down. I use mine all the time, especially to carry our beach essentials since they are easy to wash down.
I love a good tote bag because it can hold so much but still looks cute. Two of my favorites are this brown leather one by sole society and this Tory Burch Robinson tote, which I have in white for summer.
If you are a mom of multiples, a backpack-style bag is a must for being hands-free. I love the Pipi Bear diaper bag for its many pockets and low price point. For a dressier look that I can take to work too, I recently got this Reaction by Keneth Cole bag that is sleek, but also super functional.
On the rare occasion that I go out solo without the kids, my favorite bag is this Tory Burch crossbody. I have honestly gotten rid of most of my other small bags and clutches because I never use them. This one is great for date nights but can also work for a more formal occasion if needed.
At the top of my list of best bags for moms is my Louis Vuitton Neverfull. Yes, I realize the price point of this bag is outrageous, but it is a purchase that I don’t regret. It really is the perfect bag. I use it as a diaper bag, for travel, and even for work. I know I will have it for life and look forward to passing it down to Audrey Claire one day.
For a less expensive carry-all type bag my two favorites are this extra-large utility tote and the Scout bags that come in tons of sizes and colors. One of these is usually in my car at all times. I use it as a catch-all bag and to bring groceries in the house with only one trip.
If you are in the market for a new bag or need some inspo for your next wish list, I highly recomend any of these. They really are the best bags for moms in my opinion.
Is there a bag you love that I didn’t mention above? Let me know in the comments or send me a DM on Instagram. Thanks so much for reading and sharing.
