Valentin’s Day is right around the corner, which means it’s time to start thinking about what types of treats you can send to school for your kid’s classmates. Typically kids bring candy with a store bought boxed valentine card, but I decided to find 3 alternatives that would be suitable for all age groups, including toddlers. I started by thinking about snacks that Grayson loves. I then to Pinterest to find cute labels to attach to them.
I decided to use goldfish, fruit snacks and apple sauce pouches for the treats, since these are ones we already had in our pantry. Grayson LOVES them, so I usually buy them in bulk at Sams or Costco. I printed out the labels (love my HP instant ink) and attached them with double stick tape. Super quick and easy! I chose the following sayings for the snacks:
“I’M GLAD WE’RE IN THE SAME SCHOOL!”
“I AM SO BERRY HAPPY WE’RE FRIENDS!”
“VALENTINE, YOU’RE AWESOME-SAUCE!”
