July Favorites

July was such a great month, and I’m so sad to see it come to an end. It started off with a road trip to visit our best friends in South Carolina for the 4th, came home to celebrate our baby girl’s first birthday, and spent the remainder of the month soaking up time as a family. It’s back to work for me and back to day care/school for the kiddos. I knew our time at home would eventually end, but it still doesn’t make it any easier leaving my babies. I’m choosing to stay positive and find joy in the little things, so without further ado, here are the ten things I’ve been loving this month:

Packing Cubes

We’ve done a good bit of traveling this summer…the beach, South Carolina and lots of weekend trips to see family. Packing cubes are a MUST for organized packing, especially with kids in tow. It keeps everyone’s items separated and you are able to fit so much more in your suitcase! I have several sets including these from Eagle Creek and these from Travel Wise.

Blue Light Glasses

These blue light glasses from The Book Club are a recent purchase and already a favorite. I’ve been doing a lot of work on the blog and editing videos at night which means lots of screen time. These glasses are supposed to help protect your your eyes and are super stylish too! I also have my eye on these from Amazon.

You Tube

Specifically my new channel (shameless plug!) I’ll be posting every Monday and Friday with planner and mommy organization content. You can check it out here. Please be sure to like and subscribe!

Time to Rise Sound Machine

I’m sure most of y’all can relate to the fact that kid’s schedules have been a little off the past few months. Mine have been home with me with little to no structure. While our bedtime routine has stayed pretty consistent, Grayson started to wake up earlier and earlier. We quickly realized we had to put an end to that because if mama doesn’t get her sleep….well you know how that goes! I started using the light on his Hatch Sound machine to signal when he could call for us to get him out of bed. It took a few days for him to grasp the concept, but he now knows if he wakes up before the light turns blue, he has to play quietly in his bed. As soon as that light goes on he is hollering, “Light is BLUUUUEEEE! Come get me up!!”

Ice Cube Molds

After our trip to South Carolina where we were treated to the best homemade cocktails, Jason has been experimenting at home making lots of different drinks. These Ice Cube Silicone Molds are perfect for his whisky drinks, especially during these hot summer months.

Ball Sprinkler

If your kiddos are like mine, they love to be outside. In this Louisiana heat, a water toy is always set up at our house. This Little Tikes Beach Ball Sprinkler is one of our favorites. You blow it up, hook it up to the hose and instantly have a fun water toy for the kids to play with. It’s perfect for younger kids who don’t know how to swim because you can sit in the shade and watch them play without worry.

Car Seat Cover

I shared this Milk Snob LSU car seat cover on Instgram a few weeks back. The brand recently launched their knew collegiate collection and of course we went for the LSU one! Geaux Tigers! These covers are perfect for keeping your little one safe from the elements, and it can also double as a nursing cover for mom’s who are breastfeeding.

Touchable Bubbles

We bought these bubbles at our local toy store a few weeks back thinking they were normal bubbles. Well much to our surprise when we went to use them they were SO MUCH BETTER! Trust me on this, if you have kids who love bubbles you need this! You can catch the bubbles or they can land on things and they don’t pop. It’s like magic! Our entire family loves these!

Fabletics

I’ve been living in workout clothes the past few months. I wish I could say I’ve been working out in them, but honestly I just like to be comfy while chasing after kids! I signed up for Fabletics to get the 2/24 leggings deal and loved them so much that I kept my membership. I’m really enjoying getting to pick a few new pieces each month. The quality is amazing and the patterns and prints are so cute too!

Wayfair

Anyone else love Wayfair as much as I do? I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t get enough of their stuff. The prices can’t be beat and the quality of everything I have bought is great. We recently bout this rug for our living room and several items for Grayson’s new big boy room (I’ll be sharing all the deets on that soon!)

Hope you all had a wonderful month! Thanks for reading, liking and sharing! XOXO
