How is it possible that our sweet boy is already six months old?! I’m not sure where the time is going. Gabe has brought so much joy to our family, but he is also giving this mama a run for her money when it comes to sleeping!
My first two spoiled me by sleeping through the night by 10 weeks. Gabe on the other hand….well let’s just say he doesn’t take after his mama and her love for sleep! Good thing he’s so cute!
Luckily, great baby products can make my life as a mom that much easier. Today I’m sharing three of my current favorites for baby number three.
Boppy 4 and More Multi-Use Cover
A multi-use cover is a must-have item for any mom and baby. I’ve used one with all three of my babies, and I think now it’s even more important than ever with so much sickness going around.
The Boppy 4 and More Multi-Use Cover is my favorite. I have one that I got back when I was pregnant with Grayson that has been used and abused, so I was really excited to get a new one.
This cover is great because it can be used in multiple ways including a car seat cover, nursing cover, high chair or shopping cart cover, and even a pouch for your purse or bag.
The cover is dual-sided which allows you to choose between a breathable mesh side or a UPF 50+ knit side, both perfect for our hot Louisiana climate.
Philips Avent Natural Bottle with Natural Response Nipple
Finding a bottle that works well for a primarily breastfed baby is not always the easiest. The Philips Avent Natural Bottle has been a go-to for us with Gabe. He gets one bottle a day so that daddy and the kids can bond with him, and of course on those rare occasions that mom and dad can get away for the night.
These bottles are designed to mimic the breast so your baby can easily transition back and forth. The natural response nipple follows your baby’s rhythm so they can drink, swallow, and breathe. Also, it only allows milk to flow when the baby is actively sucking so they control the pace.
Gabe loves it which makes me one happy mama!
Baby Magic
As I said earlier, Gabe is not the biggest fan of sleep, so we have been working really hard at creating a consistent bedtime routine. This starts with bathtime, which he happens to love!
A product that is new to us is this Baby Magic Calming Bath and Lotion. Both products contain lavender and chamomile which are known to calm the nerves. That’s exactly what we all need after our crazy days! I also like to think it puts Gabe in a zen state for a favorite bedtime book and a good night’s sleep.
The best part is that the soap is tear-free (a must for babies) and the aloe in the products keeps his skin soft and hydrated. Gosh- is there anything better than the smell of a clean baby?!
As a veteran mom, I can easily judge if a product is one we will use and love or if it’s something we can pass on. I can confidently say these current favorites for baby three are ones every mom needs.
